Morais Vineyards and Winery
Morais Vineyards and Winery was launched in 2011. The winery's history is rooted in the family's Portuguese heritage and Virginia's winemaking history.
José Morais, the owner of Morais Vineyards & Winery, was born in Portugal and came to the United States at age 17. He made his fortune in construction and acted as a liaison between the Portuguese government and Portugal's American consulates, and followed his passion and heritage into the wine industry.

Morais Winery specializes in Portuguese wines, including Albarino, Verdelho, and Touriga Nacional and port-style wines. As a guest of Spirited Tours, you will enjoy a charcuterie platter and wine tasting of 12 different wines, four of which are port-style wines.

We offer both public group and private winery tours to Morais Winery and Vineyard.
